Mini Album

Love the Autumn Splendor Designer Paper in the Holiday Mini Catalog and was inspired to make this mini album.  There are flaps and pockets in this cute mini.  I'm going to have a mini album class soon and we'll be making this one and a couple of others.  So great for gifts, fast scrapbooking and creating!

Happy Fall!

So, it's the first day of Fall here in Colorado Springs, but our SECOND day of SNOW!  Yes, the weather here in Colorado is never boring.  

Yesterday, I received our newest Stampin' Success magazine that all Stampin' Up! demonstrators get.  Always love the ideas that I get from that great magazine both for my business and for my creativity.  The card you see above was directly copied from the card on the cover.  I had to change some things because I DON'T sew and there was sewing across the top and some fun new ribbon that I haven't had a chance to get.  What I did do was run the scoring tool across the Vanilla Craft Pad and then ran it across the top of the Chocolate Chip layer for a faux sewing look.

I used a clear button and added some designer paper to the back of it.  My own addition were the little "leaves" that came from the middle of Lattice Die cut.   

Instead of using the textured card stock I stamped Sanded on both the Chocolate Chip Layer and the More Mustard base.

Textured Impressions Embossing Folders

This is a little different, but BEAUTIFUL!   We used the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Folder on vellum and WOW!  Isn't this stunning?  We also used the Magnetic Movers and Shapers Punch Windows to make the scallop oval window and of course, the Scallop Oval Punch for the sentiment from Bella's Bloom.  To hide the strip of adhesive, we tied a little Bermuda Bay ribbon at the top and voila!   So beautiful.  So elegant.  So simple.

How about Soccer?

This is more of a scrapbook card.  Sometimes you have LOTS of pictures of the same event, but there are so great that you want to use them all. This ball can solve that problem.

Elmo and Ernie! Could You Just Die?

Talk about creative!  Is this not so cute?  And what kid wouldn't like opening and shutting this card to se these characters pop-up!  Karen Burniston did a fabulous job with these.  She designed this die for the Big Shot as well.

Elegant Pop Up Tree

I told you that there were LOTS of ways to use this amazing pop-up die.  Are you amazed?  You should be.  Here's an elegant way to use this die.  First, the card is closed.

Tip:  Karen said that you don't want to be skimpy or wimpy with your adhesive.  That's why when you're putting this die or any pop-up die you need to use Sticky Strip.  Stampin' Up! also sells it in 12X12 sheets so that when you need a bigger piece, you have it.
