Scrappin' with the Big Shot
Do you ever get a craft magazine and think, "Wow! I really want to do that!" and then ACTUALLY do it? Well, I did. I saw the cute, cute idea for the pumpkin in a magazine and knew I had great pictures to go with it. So, this weekend I made it. I didn't sew it like they did, but I did add a punch out of my little girl and that was all my own idea. Yay! I'm still working with my HUGE pile of Creative Memories. Once I'm done with it, I'm going to the Stampin' Up! scrapbooks from then on. I can't wait. However, since these pages are white, I'm able to do some fun techniques with them. Here, I brayered some So Saffron with touches of More Mustard. I also used the Serif Alpha dies. How fun are those? Want to scrap with me? I have a club waiting to start! Email me today to join!

Scrapbooking Weekend in Woodland Park, Colorado
Hi Everyone! I know for the last month my posts have been sporadic. I'm sorry. However, I have a plethora of things to show you, but I haven't gotten pictures of them. I wanted to show you how fun our weekend was for the Stampin' Up! crop. Oh boy, did I get a lot done. I got 30 sides done this weekend and am ready to do more! I'm not sure however, when I'll get to it, BUT the weekends for the NEXT crop are March 13-15th (firm) and April 10th-12th (tentatively). A great way to be in on the know is to SIGN UP FOR MY NEWSLETTER! Go to the left hand sidebar and you'll see the box for my newsletter there.
I want to leave you with one of the sb layouts that I did. One of the perks of getting together to scrap is that you can get tons of ideas and borrow tools and other items from the other people around you. Here, I used the Big Shot Leaves Die (REALLY want that) and the Naturally Serif Letter Decorative Strip Die (would LOVE that, too!). I used Stampin' Up! designer paper for the leaf color, but it's all retired. I figured I should stop hoarding and start using. I challenge you all to do the same!
I'll be showing you a couple of favorites in later posts.
This weekend was a BLAST! The food, the company, the cropping, the food! We had BEEF WELLINGTON one night. Yup, your regular camp food fare!!!

Material Big Shot Banner
Hello Cyber World! I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in so long. I have been meaning to for a while now with so many projects to show you, but haven't been able to find a minute to do so until now. Here's a fun project I made with a friend using the Big Shot Pennant Die, the Scallop #2 die and the Seriph Letters. My friend picked out the fabric from Ruth's Stitchery. On the reverse side it says "Joyful". I'll show that to you in December. We used the Very Vanilla 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon. It took a while to make these (we made 3 at the same time), but they weren't hard to make at all.
